Our client is a rapidly growing retailer with over 180 stores in the UK and a growing online and international business. They have opened over 30 new UK stores in the past two years and have ambitious plans for further growth including partnership retailmodels. They are massively customer centric and really care about their people, customers and the communities in which they trade in.

They are now looking for a Facilities & Maintenance Manager.Reporting into the Head of Property and working in a small but busy Property team, this role will have full responsibility for maintenance and facilities of the central and retail estate. As Facilities& Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the effective delivery of maintenance services to the portfolio of stores, the central offices and warehouses across the UK. You will use your experience of facilities management and your understanding of thebusiness to build and implement initiatives and ideas to deliver improved efficiencies as the business expands.

**Facilities & Maintenance Manager - Responsibilities**
- Deliver on planned and reactive maintenance across the retail estate.
- Build external relationships with key contractors to provide value for money service contracts with accountable SLA’s.
- Plan and manage the budget plans and spend across planned and reactive maintenance contracts.
- Build and develop relationships across departments to provide clear plans and communication.
- Manage all utility contracts providing detail of usage and making recommendations to control usage and manage costs across stores and central operation.
- Central and warehouse support and management of requested repairs and 3rd party contracts.
- Support central business continuity plans ensuring all relevant equipment is installed & maintained.
- Build and implement new initiatives to improve efficiency across the estate in line with growth.
- Plan and coordinate mid to long term investment on estate assets providing improved service.
- Provide training and development for team members to improve service level to retail estate.
- Support and / or implement key building & maintenance projects across the business.
- Regularly communicate and provide essential update to Heads of Department.

**Facilities & Maintenance Manager - Required Skills**
- Minimum 3-5 years Facilities and Maintenance Retail or multi-site experience.
- BIFM qualification preferred
- Significant budget, project and contractor management experience.
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of maintenance, contractor tender and cost planning.
- Ability to review, develop and improve internal processes with a track record of implementing best practice and SOP’s, in line with business growth.
- Excellent working knowledge of legal, H&S and compliance documentation.
- Full UK driving license is required in order to visit our sites across the UK

As Facilities & Maintenance Manager you will have experience of negotiating and agreeing contracts and be comfortable setting high standards for yourself and your teams. You will be forward thinking with an ability to plan and implement pro-active and re-activeservice plans to tight budgets and controls.
