On behalf of our client we are currently seeking a Tool Preparation and Maintenance Operator.
This self-motivated individual will join and become an integral part of the small team within our tool room to assist us on our mission of preserving the planet by offering good quality, eco-friendly packaging products and taking advantage of the virtuous recyclingloop.
Would you like to be part of a time that produce products that are made entirely from wastepaper and cardboard? Producing packaging that is biodegradable, recyclable, and compostable. Using the latest conventional pulp fibred moulding equipment and unique afterpressing technology to achieve fantastic results.
Role and responsibilities:
*Preparing precise tooling for moulded fibre operations.
*Liaising with our production team to ensure timescales are adhered to.
*Refurbishing existing tooling in a timely manner to reduce production downtime.
*Use of sanding equipment, drilling machines, CNC milling centre.
*Completing spot welding and casting of resin moulds.
*Assisting with housekeeping duties within the department.
*Adhering to health and safety policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications and skills:
*Experience within engineering with transferable skills.
*Experience with casting of epoxy and polyurethane resins desirable but not essential.
*Attention to detail, delivering a high standard of work at all times.
Job specifics:
Hours of work: Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00, Fri 08:00-14:30.
Additional hours may be required, including on call.
Salary
- £10.75 per hour
