**Senior Team Manager -Food Distribution - Hertfordshire**

**Salary: Up to C : £35K Base plus excellent benefits**

**Job Purpose**:
To manage daily activities that supports the overall National Distribution Centre objectives by ensuring Budgets and Health & Safety standards are met, and values and code of practice maintained.Ensure and maintain a successful operational flow throughoutthe warehouse operation to achieve the assembly of individual customer orders in accordance with agreed site operational schedule, through effective management and leadership of your areas and working in partnership with the Operations Team.

**Accountabilities**:

- Tomanage,developandleadteamsinthedeliveryofanoperationallyexcellentwarehouseinlinewith business requirements.
- Complywithallcompanyandlegalstandardsincludinghealth&safety,hygiene,andenvironmentalpolicies.
- Leadanddevelopcontinuousimprovementactivityinyourareaofresponsibilityinthedeliveryofquality, value, safety, hygiene, environment and customer service.
- MeasureanddeliverteamsKPIstoachievethefinancialelementswithinthebusinessplan.
- Take ownership of department KPI’s, ensuring targets are fully met through the management and monitoringof teams performance
- Developandmanageperformanceandservicelevelcompliancemeasureswithinyourdepartmenttoensure agreedsiteSLA’sareachieved
- Manage and control team costs to ensure team utilisation is fully achieved (overtime, agency use, headcountand absence)
- DeputiseforSeniorOperationsManagerduringperiodsofannualleave&absence.
- Manage ateamofbetween8 -16colleagues(organise,motivate,communicate,reviewperformance,etc),to effectively achieve optimum performance and attendance in line with the budget.
