**Property Maintenance Helpdesk Administrator**

**Location**: Derby
**Contract**: Full Time, Permanent
**Hours**: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (40 hours per week, with 1-hour lunch break)
**Salary**: £24,648

Nacro, a leading Social Justice Charity with over 50 years of experience in changing lives and building stronger communities, is seeking a dedicated **Property Maintenance Helpdesk Administrator** to join our team in Derby.

This is an exciting opportunity to support our **Community Accommodation Support (CAS) service**, which provides accommodation and support for adult defendants and recently released individuals across England and Wales. Your role will contribute to the efficient and effective delivery of repairs and maintenance services across Nacro’s property portfolio.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Coordinate Property Repairs**: Process and resolve repair requests from staff and service users by liaising with approved contractors, landlords, and partner agencies.
- **Monitor Work Progress**: Ensure that repair and maintenance work is completed on time, minimizing delays and ensuring that targets and KPIs are met.
- **Obtain Contractor Quotes**: Request quotes from contractors for high-value work, ensuring specifications are met.
- **Schedule Safety Checks**: Arrange periodic safety inspections, including gas, fire, electrical checks, fire risk assessments, and asbestos surveys.
- **Complaint Resolution**: Address and resolve any complaints regarding the quality of work performed by contractors.

**About You**:
We are looking for a proactive and organized individual with strong communication and administrative skills. Previous experience in property services is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. You'll need the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks under pressure, and build effective relationships with contractors and third-party agencies.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience as an administrator (property services experience desirable).
- Basic knowledge of property maintenance (training provided).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Competency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage workloads, work autonomously, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent telephone manner and organizational skills.
