Transport Coordinator

About the role
**This is a 3 month fixed term contract which may have an opportunity to extend further - discuss at interview**

Reporting to the Swindon Operations Manager, this role provides transport administration to our Ritter sites and is responsible for providing a source of expertise, ensuring compliance of sites, to UK legislation and Company Policy in regards to all aspects of Transport issues & Health & Safety.

Our Swindon fleet is made up of 3 x HGV drivers & 12 x 3.5tn van drivers.

Part of the Booker Group, Ritter Courivaud are distributors of fine foods, supplying a number of fine dining restaurants, high end hotels and gastro pubs.

You will be responsible for
Assist, monitor and record all service and maintenance to the Ritter Swindon fleet to ensure best practise, legal compliance and consistency, including taking the vans to our servicing hub

Monitor daily transport operations at Ritter Swindon

Support with transport operations our other Ritter Depots.

Ultimately responsible for making sure our fleet is safe, secure & legal.

You will need
Sound knowledge of fleet operations for HGV’s/LGV’s

Experience of tachograph procedures/interrogation.

Eye for detail on vehicle safety

Knowledge of O’ license regulations

Some experience of Microsoft Excel.

Driving licence for up to 3.5 tn vehicles
