We have an exciting new opportunity to join the Change Delivery Team as a **Workplace Facilities Transition Specialist **on an 18-month Fixed Term Contract basis. You'll be based from our Christchurch hub though with offices in Bristol, Basingstoke, Exeter and Newbury, we can be flexible on your base location.

There will be travel required between our offices and sites so you should have access to transport and hold a full UK licence and be happy to travel. The role will combine both home and office working to ensure a positive work/life balance.

**The Role**

As a Workplace Facilities Transition Specialist, you will be supporting the Programme Manager and team in the design, and delivery, of our new Operational Hubs and then develop and implement requirements to allow for the transition to the Workplace team, ensuring the properties are safe, secure, healthy, compliant, efficient, and effective workplaces.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Working collaboratively with the Workplace management team to successfully deliver the strategic objectives and benefits of the Workplace programme
- Lead, develop and establish effective and efficient operational management ensuring a smooth and seamless transition of new workplaces when delivered to operational management
- Taking ownership for the transition from old to new locations, and the clearing and decommissioning for existing sites
- Responsible for identifying site management requirements from the operational and maintenance manuals and coordinate with the Workplace Lead and Procurement for the setting up of new contracts
- Accountable for collating compliance records for each new site
- Managing the overall relationship with project stakeholders
- Act as a change champion enabling people to understand the benefits and issues associated with planned change and to identify/overcome any barriers to success of change initiative
- Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies

**What we need from you**

You will need to have previous experience in the setting up of a new location/site and knowledge in working with cross functional teams, integrating the different organisational and operational requirements to deliver a new workplace environment.

Bringing experience of developing relationships with internal, third parties and suppliers to help flourish key projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident and self-motivated.
- Strong technical knowledge of workplace statutory compliance and the provision of hard and soft services.
- Commercial and financial understanding of budget and contractor management.
- Problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Team player with an enthusiastic attitude and proactive approach.
- Proactive and proven stakeholder management skills across all levels of colleague and with external partners.
