An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist to join our Central Services team based in our Canterbury office. This role covers 08.30 - 17.00, Monday to Friday and is inclusive of a one hour lunch break.

Direction Law is a firm proudly built on relationships. With around 180 employees, and with over 45 years’ experience in providing a range of conveyancing and other legal services to private individuals, housing providers and business clients, our expertise and increased market share allow us to continually expand our business to meet the demands of our work providers and clients. You will play a very important part in ensuring the business delivers the best possible client care by meeting the expectations of clients, work providers, referrers and the general public. All our teams work to tight deadlines and they rely on the reception team to support them in their daily work.

**Key Duties of the Role**:

- Managing incoming switchboard calls;
- Meeting and greeting visitors to the office;
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post, including royal mail, DX, special deliveries etc;
- Search the case management system for client information and distribute as appropriate;
- Support Practice Management with administration tasks;
- Assisting other departments when necessary;
- Participate in all training programmes initiated by the Line Managers;
- Report all issues of concern to the Head of Department or as they may direct;
- To adhere to policies and procedures of the Firm;
- To administer daily work within the restrictions of GDPR, Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme and Solicitors Regulation Authority;
- To undertake additional tasks as deemed reasonable to meet the needs of the team in the delivery of excellent client service.

**Requirements for the Role**:

- Consistently deliver excellent client care;
- Prioritise your workload and stay calm under pressure;
- Use IT systems efficiently;
- Produce accurate work and have a keen eye for detail;
- Take initiative in relation to problem solving;
- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s A-C or equivalent;
- Experience working as a receptionist within a professional services environment.
