**Summary**:

- International Defence Training (IDT) is a small team based at AIR Command at RAF High Wycombe. The team facilitates training agreements with Foreign Military and UK Defence Contractors and have access to a full catalogue of Flying Training and Technical Training.
- This position is advertised at 37 hours per week**Job description**:

- The IDT1B1 post is the desk officer for the administration of International Defence training for NATO and Europe. The responsible job holder is required to build and maintain positive working relationships, engaging directly with Embassies, Defence Sections and Training Delivery Units to facilitate the provision of training in support of Defence Engagement objectives. The job holder, following JSP 510 direction, updates IDT databases including ESCAPADE, EMS and Sharepoint, ensuring accurate records are maintained, allowing for effective recovery of costs and assisting with Freedom of Information (FOI) requests. Unique to this role, the job holder is responsible for creating and monitoring tracked milestone payments in accordance with bespoke training agreements, monitoring the payment plans to ensure that invoices are raised at the correct payment points**Responsibilities**:

- Respond to requests and enquiries from Embassies, Defence Sections and Training Delivery Units.
- Use the Enhanced Security Cooperation Activities Plan App for Defence Engagement (ESCAPADE) process Middle East and North Africa (MENA) enquires for training.
- Check current availability, dates and cost with the Training provider.
- Using EMS, raise and issue Offer and Nomination letters within 8 weeks of course iaw JSP510.
- Prepare paperwork for IDT Business Support to invoice the relevant Embassies on the course start date.
- Include UK funded training approvals, amendments of all training dates, prices and quantity of students including travel and clothing allowances.
- Use IDT Document Policy provided by IDT Business Support to enhance working together as a team. File documents efficiently and in accordance with IM policy on the Team Site and prepare paper files for processing.**Behaviours**:
