We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Officer to join our team at Musgrove Park Hospital

You will be responsible for concluding a variety of engineering and environmental duties including maintenance, installation, testing, and repair and commissioning of electrical services and equipment.

This is a full time Band 6 permanent position, with an additional payment of £3000 RRP on top.

As an Electrical Officer you will manage a variety of engineering and environmental duties including maintenance, installation, testing, and repair and commissioning of electrical services and equipment.

This would include plant and equipment in accordance with relevant legislative standards and operational procedures to ensure the integrity of engineering services and infrastructure of the hospital and to provide a safe environment for patients, public and staff.

- To act as Authorised Person in relation to specific maintenance responsibilities.
- To support the Operations Manager & Head of Estates in the provision of a high quality, responsive, flexible & cost-effective estates service to Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.
- To manage the statutory and mandatory aspects of the primary electrical plant e.g. Generators, LV/HV
