**JOB TITLE: Emergency and Crisis Management Advisor (ECMA).**
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Operate as part of a team, progressing from a supporting/assisting role, responsible for carrying out client tasks under the direction of a Project Manager or Team Leader;
- Reviewing emergency and crisis response arrangements to produce reports, particularly Feedback Reports under guidance from Project Manager or Team Leader.
- Developing procedures and plans, and training programmes desired to support same.
- Organising and delivering exercises as instructed by the Team Leader (primarily repeat scenarios), and participating in others' exercises as Role-player.
- To ensure that all time and expenses against the project are accurately recorded and submitted in a timely fashion.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:
- To be knowledgeable in the field of emergency response and crisis management;
- To have actual experience of responding to emergency and crisis incidents (could be operator, Emergency Services, Armed Forces, Coastguard or other relevant);
- To be an experienced trainer, capable of fulfilling all aspects including training needs analysis, programme development, material preparation and delivery;
- To be conversant with exercises, how they are organised, and how they are run;
- To understand contingency planning and procedures.
- Able to demonstrate strong IT skills in standard Microsoft packages.
- Interpreting client wishes and advising client on what they actually require;
- Meeting and tracking budget time allowances;
- Organising training/exercising events;
- Achieving client satisfaction and therefore continued work;
- Being a capable communicator in all spheres;
- To be able to effectively manage time and requirements;
- Required: Proven experience in emergency response and/or crisis management preparedness and/or response;
- Desired: Proven experience in the Oil & Gas Industry or other high risk industry;
