A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Junior Copywriter to join an Oxfordshire-based marketing and advertising agency

Working in their renowned creative team to work on all copy that comes through the agency - you get to showcase your writing skills whilst putting your own creative spin on advertising for some of the biggest international healthcare brands

As a Junior Creative writer your role would involve reporting to and supporting the Senior Creative writer in producing copy for a myriad of therapy areas, and a wide range of pharma clients. Medical writing experience is not necessary, as there is a team of Medical writers who handle this aspect and are on hand to help with understanding more complex therapy areas and to offer advice and guidance on copy produced.

The role would involve reporting to the Senior Creative writer or Creative Director, but also taking briefs directly from the account team. You would be expected to e able to work on your own when required, but also to work as part of a Creative Team with an Art Director or the Creative Director on creative briefs.

**The role requires**:

- A flexible approach to working hours - a willingness to work outside normal hours when required
- Ideally travel to the office at least twice a week
- Being prepared to present your work both internally and occasionally externally in client meetings and to give a rationale for it
- Working to tight deadlines and keeping clean and tidy file management
- Liaising with Account handlers and keeping them informed of a project’s progress
- Being able to digest complex medical information and re-interpret it in an engaging and attractive way
- High motivation, a creative mindset and a can-do attitude
- Proven conceptual, creative writing capabilities
- Interest in digital technologies
- Ability to network and co-operate with fellow writers and art directors
- Enthusiasm for a varied workload and project management
- Willingness to get stuck in to RFA life, be part of our close-knit team
