**Job Title: Regional Facilities Manager

**Salary**: £35,000- £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
Location: Hertfordshire (Field-based in and around Hertfordshire and Head Office based in Essex)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time**

**Purpose of the role**:
To manage and maintain the homes within a set region to the high standard that our client expects.

**Regional Facilities Manager**:

- Do you have previous experience working in a maintenance/caretaking role or building profession?
- Do you have strong DIY experience and are renowned for being a handy person?
- Have you had previous experience of manging large, self-contained domestic type stand alone properties?
- Maybe you've worked in a care setting before?
- Do you have working knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and regulations?
- Maybe you’re COSHH qualified or familiar with this?
- Do you have experience with environmental issues?
- Are you a results focused individual?
- Do you have strong problem solving skills and can work on own initiative?
- Maybe you have an awareness of safeguarding vunerable adults?
- Do you like variety in a role and travelling to various different sites across Hertfordshire and Essex would appeal to you?

**Job Duties**:

- Manage and maintain our clients homes environments within set region to a high standard
- Ensuring building and environments meet a high standard and initiate a proactive schedule of future works
- 6 monthly sling inspections
- Carry out interviews of potential maintenance staff as needed and then work through a period of induction with appointed applicants
- Monitoring maintenance standards and the performance of homes maintenance staff. When standards are not met, agree improvement plans with maintenance staff and home managers
- Such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time
- To comply with all job related polices, regulations and rules including health and safety and welfare of the residents and colleagues
- To ensure that attendance to both mandatory and required training courses are met in order that skills, knowledge and competency levels are maintained to carry out the role efficiently and effectively.
