**Overview**

This job role includes shifts on Saturdays & Sundays, additional hours during school holidays and busy periods will also be required.

**Duties**
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Serve customers with a friendly and helpful attitude, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Preparing beverages and managing the customer and staff area during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or issues to management.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or catering environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members alike.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to help others within the team.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 13 per week
