**Our client**
Our client is a successful high volume manufacturing plant that has seen considerable capital investment in recent years and as such is looking to create a new dedicated role for an Improvement Engineer.
**The opportunity**
As Improvement Engineer, you will work closely with the Production Manager to develop an effective plan to facilitate improvement projects across the site to improve OEE and output whilst underpinning the site's wider strategic priorities.As an Engineer,you will understand the technical capability of the equipment/assets to optimise performance of the equipment whilst developing and delivering training on the shop floor to embed a positive improvement minded culture throughout the site.
**About you**
With a minimum of HNC/HND in an Engineering discipling, you will have previous experience either in a dedicated Improvement Engineer role or as a Manufacturing/Process Engineer effective facilitating and delivering improvement projects in a complex high volumemanufacturing plant.With well developed communication skills you will demonstrate the ability to give confidence to the Senior Management Team, challenge & influence throughout the site whilst engaging effectively with the shop floor.
