Multi award winning Transport and Logistics Company. Founded 7 years ago the business now employs 120 staff with several sites. Running at 70 vehicles per day, T/O £18 million and offering service web based order fulfilment.

The working hours are 11am to 8pm Mondayto Friday.

**The essence of the role**

Brand new role within a growing team will offer job security and development within the transport team. You will be responsible for general office duties including answering calls, general admin and working with the drivers to manage timesheets and relevantprocesses to ensure a smooth transition from road to office. Other duties may be required depending on the needs of the team.

**The scope of the role**
- Ensure all inbound/outbound paperwork is completed promptly and accurately
- Monitor and chase documentation in support of the transport operation
- Trunk planning
- POD compliance
- Speak with customers and drivers to ensure a smooth operation
- De-brief of drivers pre and end of shift
- Dealing with customer orders ensuring quality accuracy, delivery timelines, instruction and communication to all depot staff

**Prerequisites**
- Previous experience within Logistics or Haulage
- Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word & Excel)
- Ability to work on own initiative, demonstrates organizational skills
