**Job description**:
The function of the Corporate Estates Support Officer sits within the Corporate Estates Management Team (CEM) within a wider Estates. The DVSA Estate is made up of a diverse portfolio of around 500 leased and freehold properties across Great Britain.

The purpose of the Corporate Estates Support Officer role is to deliver and maintain an effective and efficient estates portfolio by supporting the financial needs of Corporate and Operational Business Functions.

The post holder will support work to maintain agreed works, payments and management of our current estate portfolio to the needs of the agency.

The role will be required to engagement with internal stakeholders (teams within Estates, Finance, Commercial, Operations and Enforcement) and external stakeholders (Landlords and Service Providers)

**Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Promoting and ensuring excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders regarding payments, Account management and works etc by telephone and in writing, progressing and updating on requests and providing supporting data as required.
- Promoting and ensuring effective liaison with stakeholders including DfT (and other agencies), Corporate Estates Management (CEM), Finance and Procurement, Operations Directorate, Total Facilities Management (TFM) and Property Investment Team (PIT)
- Maintaining the Estates Finance database with service charge, rates and insurance payments for all sites
- Work closely with the Finance teams to manage landlord and tenant expectations and maintain and improve working relationships with those key stakeholders.

**About you**

You will have:

- Working knowledge/experience of admin/finance support functions.
- Working knowledge and skill in Microsoft Office 365 suite, including SharePoint, Word, Excel and Teams and Adobe Pro Software
- Experience and knowledge of working within a property management environment.
- Basic experience/knowledge in the use of SAP or other finance ‘purchase to pay’ systems
- Willingness to undertake appropriate training to develop professional/technical knowledge if required

As a proactive and organised individual, you will thrive working within a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality. You display resilience and flexibility when faced with ambiguity, and effectively review and re-prioritise tasks when required.

You will be an articulate communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to navigate, occasionally challenging, conversations with confidence. You will have positive interpersonal skills, enabling you to develop and maintain trusted working relationships, both within DVSA and with external contractors and suppliers.
