West Yorkshire Police, as the lead Force for the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit (YHROCU), are looking to recruit Intelligence researchers based in Wakefield.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established regional unit working alongside four police forces and partner agencies including His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS), to tackle serious and organised crime.

The role involves conducting research using a variety of products and techniques to support YHROCU objectives, assisting in the identification of links and association between data to support operational activity, providing timely and accurate reports to a range of YHROCU customers, internally and externally.

They will also have excellent report writing skills, oral and written communication skills, and be able to pay close attention to detail as well as having a strong partnership approach and collaborative working.
