**About the Role**

**Base Location**: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key South of England sites, which includes but is not limited to:

- Reading, Havant, London.

**Salary**: £36,260 - £44,257 + car / allowance + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

**Working Pattern**: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available.

The role of the trainer is to deliver high quality learning interventions with regards to technical safety courses. The role holder will be expected to peak-lop any of the non-technical safety courses that the non-technical role undertakes in addition to the core part of this role will be to deliver the following technical safety courses:

- Attendance management of classroom delivery via LMS.
- To support the Technical Training Manager by organising training venues, logistics, transport, accommodation and material as required to achieve effective and efficient training delivery.
- Continual development of individual skill set to keep pace with developments within L&T and external best practice.
- Regular travel is a key requirement of the role given training delivery can be carried out across multiple sites.
- Deliver high quality bespoke training that meets business demand in both a classroom and online environments across a number of different business areas.

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Must have experience in delivering effective and engaging training sessions.
- Must possess strong coaching skills.
- A technical background in the Power Industry or be able to map against past experience.
- Must have sound knowledge of different learning styles and training methodologies.
- Knowledge of SSE’s Products & Services is essential.
