**Who we are looking for -**
A charismatic coffee professional with an existing SCA AST Accreditation who is
- Genuinely passionate about connecting with others and helping to grow and develop their skills.
- Engaged with the coffee industry - keeping on top of the latest trends and news.

- Always happy to freely share their knowledge with others and bring them along their coffee journey.

- Wanting to play a key role in helping our Brand grow
- Up for lots of travel both within the UK and Abroad.
**The Role -**
The role of Head Trainer is to create and develop long lasting connections with our Mozzo Partners, curating training programs and for their teams, supporting them to develop exciting and engaging coffee cultures within their venues, and helping them to deliver exceptional coffee experiences to their guests.
As one of the members of our “field” team, you will become one of the key faces and voices of the brand, and will help shape the perception of Mozzo and its products within Partner Venues and beyond.
**What you’ll be doing -**
- Customer Connections - Coffee Culture & Quality
- Creating and developing long standing connections with Mozzo Partners and their teams.
- Take ownership of the coffee culture and quality within our Partner Venues and push for continuous improvement.
- Identifying product/service and/or brand extension opportunities for the Mozzo brand within its customer base that will drive their coffee culture and standards forward.
- Complete detailed Coffee Quality Audits (for selected Partner Venues) and share constructive feedback on how they can improve the quality of the coffee experiences served.
Knowledge Development - Coffee Credibility and Training
- Bringing a sense of Coffee Credibility and Passion to our customers.
- Delivering engaging coffee training to baristas in Partner Venues*.
- Curating and running structured training plans tailored to each Partner Venue and their respective needs.
- Taking ownership of each individual baristas’ coffee development and ensuring their journeys are progressive and ever evolving.
- Keeping detailed notes (inc. images) of training delivered to include focus points
- Sharing feedback with key decision makers to help them develop their teams
- Encouraging Partner Venues to upskill their team by sending them to more advanced training, and showing how this can benefit their businesses.
- Up-selling and delivering Intermediate and Advanced Training*
*This includes both On-Site and Off-Site at the Mozzo Roastery (Southampton) and/or our London Training Room.
**Sales Support - Growing Mozzo**
- Helping the Sales Team to grow the business by supporting Tastings and Events*.
- Up-selling additional products/services and/or brand extension opportunities for the company.
- Identify threats and/or challenges to the Mozzo brand within its customer base and manage them accordingly.
- Deliver stand out support to our Mozzo Partners that makes key decision makers want to take us with them wherever they may go.
*May require out of hours/weekend work.
Additional Support
- Assisting Partners with telephone support for simple technical issues.
- Working together with the Mozzo Technical Department to escalate repairs requiring engineer attendance and checking in with venues/technical team to ensure issues are resolved.
**Skills & Experience you’ll have -**
- Experience preparing coffee in a Café, Restaurant, Bar or Other Environment (using a Traditional/Manual Machine)
- Strong people and interpersonal skills
- Be flexible, and able to adjust your plans at the drop of a hat
- Ability to work independently & keep an organized diary within a fluid environment
- Sound computer (excel/word) and basic IT
