Provide a seamless response to all safeguarding concerns to childrens social care as part of the single point of access. Be responsible for health input to the assessment, discussions and decisions made by the MASH team.
Proactively engage with health staff who deliver frontline services and provide specialist childrens safeguarding information, advice, guidance and support to promote the health and welfare of children. Work with the Whittington Health Children Safeguarding Team to develop and implement the health systems and processes within the MASH and to ensure that there is an effective audit in place for monitoring the management of referrals requiring health input. Collate qualitative and quantative data on the workflow through MASH Health.
