**Care Coordinator | Douro Court, Ivybridge | £24,962 per anum**

Guinness Care have an exciting opportunity for a **Care Coordinator** to lead our Extra Care Scheme, Douro Court in Ivybridge. You will be responsible for managing a team of carers and senior carers to deliver top quality care.

**Your day-to-day duties will include**:

- Roster the care workers utilising the Staff Plan systems in an efficient, accurate and cost-effective way
- Devise and maintain a capacity plan to ensure consistent growth; monitor regularly and ensure systems are data cleansed to achieve optimum performance and excellent service
- Liaising with external organisations, service user and their family in respect of developing a package of care that is efficient, effective, and safe for the service user
- Providing written reports of all complaints, accidents, and incidents in accordance with Guinness Care policies
- Post holder will be required to undertake on-call duties on a rota basis
- Maximise recruitment opportunities to grow the team, conduct interviews as needed and improve retention of existing team members.
**Skills/ Experience Required**:

- Health and Social Care Diploma at Level 3 (or working towards it)
- Experience of working in a Homecare environment
- Takes responsibility for actions and gives great customer service
- Attention to detail and methodical
