**The Role**

Position**:Finance Assistant**

Hours**:40 hours per week**
Salary**:£22k to £25k PA plus benefits & bonus scheme**
Leave**:20 days per year, plus bank holidays, plus loyalty bonus**
Location**:Office based at our Orpington Offices**

We are seeking the right person to join our growing Accounting & Operations team, working alongside two current members of staff. The team is responsible for administrative & financial support to all areas of the business, with the majority of the work centred on Accounting and Client Support Services for our Block Management clients, to ensure:

- Availability of Service Charge funds for routine and cyclical expenditure;
- Accurate records and information is available for Property Managers & Clients;
- Accurate financial management information is available for directors;
**Key Roles & Responsibilities**

**Service Charge Accounting**:

- Prepare & issue annual & periodic Service Charge demands;
- Undertake internal credit control procedures for Service Charges;
- Process invoices for payment and allocation onto the accounting system;
- Bookkeeping for client income & expenditure and maintaining financial records;
- Bank reconciliations of financial records;
- Construction of annual Service Charge Budgets for client properties.

**General Office Administration**:

- Maintain good records of company and client documents & information;
- Input to and maintain data management systems;
- Draft & issue letters to clients, customers and contractors;

**Client Company Secretarial**:

- Record keeping for shareholder / member registers, updating any changes;
- Preparation & submission of confirmation statements;
- Preparation & submission of Dormant / Micro Entity accounts, as appropriate.
