**The role**

The Chief With Profit Actuary will act as the With-Profits Actuary (SMF20a) for designated funds in addition to leading the other With-Profit Actuaries within the group. You will lead, develop and continually refresh the vision for the WP strategy and engagement of the WP Committee and Board taking into account internal priorities and external developments. In addition you will ensure that WP policyholders are treated fairly and that regulatory expectations are met. You will also ensure the adherence to agreed frameworks, policies and standards across the group, through collaborative working relationships.

You will be an active member of the Heritage Leadership Team, and will champion With-Profits business within the company and the industry, reflecting the size and importance of Phoenix within the with-profits market.

This role provides an opportunity to bring a strategic perspective to managing our WP funds. An expert in your field you will ensure that our duties to WP policyholders continue to be discharged whilst integrating and transforming businesses across the Group.
