Shift Supervisor

**Shift Supervisor - Fabulosa**

We are looking for experienced supervisors/shift managers to work at Fabulosa's site at Wardle, Nantwich, managing a production on a 4 On 4 Off Shift Pattern.

We are looking for both Days & Night Supervisors.

**Production Planning**

Understanding & input into the Production Plan to ensure all orders are produced, packed & loaded on time and in full

Liaising throughout the shift with the Production Manager to review and amend where appliable based on ‘real time’ production

**Raw Material Planning**:
Ensure all requirement Raw Materials are in place before, during & ahead of production to reduce any downtime

Liaise with Warehouse Team to ensure required Raw Materials where required

Review & highlight any raw material issues to the relevant colleagues through the shift which may impact production (Labels, Bottles, Cardboard, etc)

**Line Leader Responsibility**:
Responsibility for the leadership & support of all Line Leaders to ensure the efficient production of our product range against the plan

Ensuring Line Leaders check & ensure their team have all relevant PPE

Ensure Line Leaders are aware of their Plan for the Shift ensuring all key components are available to minimise any downtime during changes (Bottles, Labels, Mix etc)

Ensure that the Production Line & surrounding space is kept clean & tidy throughout the day with an end of shift ‘sweep through’ to maintain required standards

Line Leaders to provide Shift Supervisor with ongoing updates on production numbers & any issues that that may impact the plan (quality, engineering, raw materials)

**Engineering**:
Provide as much forward planning as possible for Engineer Team to check, change or make necessary changes to lines during production

Highlight required maintenance at the earliest opportunity to the engineers to fix issues causing downtime

**QC**:
Work alongside the Quality Team to ensure each product is produced in line with our standards & expectations

Coach & Train production team to be aware of QC Standards & to highlight any issues that need to be addressed

**Packing & Production Outputs**:
Plan required Packing on a daily basis ensuring people & product are in place to implement

Ensure all completed orders are stacked as per guidelines & configurations containing correct barcode labels

Ensure all Pallets ‘not’ completed or to spec are either labelled appropriately or are held until finished before entering the warehouse

**Administration**:
Ensure Line Leaders provide Daily Production Tracker to summary Shift Productivity

Provide production numbers through the shift to highlight any issues

Manage the Shift Team in terms of Hours, Pay, Holidays, Absence in conjunction with Production Manager

Manage daily Agency Teams that are used to compliment our permanent teams providing clarity of attendance, hours or ‘no shows’

**Health & Safety**:
Check & enforce our regulations & guidelines at all times in terms of Health & Safety across the site

Regular checks of PPE should be made highlighting any issues to Production Manager (Non-Conformance or PPE requirements) that should be dealt with

Key issues relating Production Line Machinery should be reported to Engineering Manager & Production Manager immediately where Health & Safety is a concern

Gatekeep & enforce all site rules such as phones, air pieces, food & drink with anyone not adhering to these policies dealt with appropriately

**Salary**: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
