We are looking for reliable, caring individuals to work in our residential homes & community supported living projects and to be responsible for providing one-on-one support to the adults we support. Applicants should be comfortable working around learning disabled adults and their carers, and should be able to communicate effectively. We need applicants who are understanding, flexible & kind in their approach and physically fit, as they will need to assist vulnerable adults with daily tasks around the home.

The role will require you to:

- Support clients who are in receipt of the service while listening & respecting the views of their key family members.
- Offer one-to-one support to vulnerable adults with health issues, learning disabilities or other life challenges & physical disabilities, who are in receipt of the service.
- Support clients in regular meetings or health appointments maintaining their dignity, observing confidentiality & respecting their views.
- Have an understanding of social and communication challenges such as autism. Being prepared to provide a variety of communication methods to enable clients to engage & understand if verbal communication is challenging.
- Assist with personal care & support the client's hygiene as necessary.
- Support the client to access the community for shopping, entertainment & leisure activities.
- Follow safe working practices adhering to our policies and procedures & guidelines.
- Work as part of a team while sometimes lone working.
- Already be living in UK with appropriate work permits/visa

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-40 per week

**Salary**: £10.50-£13.50 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff are required to follow the Government Health Department guidance for care homes regarding wearing masks & other PPE and undergo regular testing.
