**Instantly recognisable global Film distribution business is looking for a Financial Controller, to play a key role in the ongoing management and improvement across the accounting function for the UK business. This role will be hands on with accountingand reporting and will be the internal expert for UK GAAP presentation of the UK financials.**

Managing a small team, with a dual report to the EVP, Global Controller (based in the US) and Chief Operating Officer, International (based in the UK), you will be responsible for;
- Directing all aspects of the UK accounting operations.
- Developing and maintaining all necessary accounting policies and internal accounting and reporting systems.
- Reviewing & evaluating contracts for significant arrangements and new business terms to identify potential accounting issues, and address as applicable.
- Working closely with Manager, Film Accounting and VP, Financial Reporting (based in US) to ensure correct revenue recognition for the UK Distribution and International Sales business divisions.
- Coordinating with the LA accounting team to submit UK related audit information as required.
- Management of all functionality and ongoing development of in DEX (Theatrical Billing) and SAP to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and cash collections for the UK revenue streams.
- Managing the UK cash flow including monthly cash flow forecast submission to LA.
- Work closely with the Finance team and assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts and variance analysis.
- Work with UK Distribution and International Marketing to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.

ACA/ ACCA or CIMA Qualified, you will be comfortable with international reporting standards, SOX, ideally from a media background, or a passion to work within such an exciting and ever evolving business.
