**Why we want you.**

You are an experienced Freelance Events Content Producer who has been producing content for global awards, conferences and webinars ideally within the financial services sector.

In this role you will be responsible for producing events for International Compliance Association (ICA) and Axco. ICA deliver events within the world of financial crime, fraud, money laundering, sanctions, cyber-crime and much, much more and Axco, events relating to the global insurance.

You will be researching, enticing relevant speakers and sponsors, and working with passionate financial services and compliance professionals who strive to make a difference in their everyday work, helping businesses navigate changing regulations and risk and playing a key role in the global fight against financial crime.

Our Wilmington EMEA events team deliver successful events for a variety of leading brands within our portfolio of businesses including ICA.

You will take the overall lead on the end to end project management, attending all content sessions, working through a research and data-led approach, producing events that include conferences, summits, congress, awards and webinars.

You will work alongside the editorial, marketing, operations, and sales teams to ensure the events achieve their goals and meet the needs of the target audience and sponsors.

You will be using your creativity and knowledge to identify new potential launch events using your validation skills to build strong business cases and your new ideas and contributions to support the overall commercial growth and success of this newly formed events team.

We always support colleagues to develop their skills but to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to tick most of these boxes

**You will also need**:

- Commercial conference production experience essential
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Sales CRM (SalesForce, MS Dynamics or similar) but not essential
- Strong Microsoft Excel
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills; analytical; confident and keen to be on the telephone
- Project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- A strong copy writer & able to communicate an effective value proposition, customer benefits
- Good business acumen; results driven
- High standards
- Structured and organised, but also flexible, with good time management
- Clear understanding of KPIs
- Clear understanding of the commercial business practices that underpin conferences, a strong commercial awareness and a clear comprehension of profit and loss/basic business principles
