**Business Background**:
The business (Excalibur Group) is owned by Exponent Private Equity and DMGT, but run on an entirely standalone basis. Excalibur Group consists of the UK and Ireland properties for Wowcher and LivingSocial. Wowcher has grown from inception in April 2011 to become one of the leading daily deal sites in the UK and one of the fastest growing eCommerce businesses in the UK. LivingSocial is a similar business to Wowcher and merged with Wowcher to form Excalibur Group in 2015.

**Marketing and CRM Department**:
The marketing team is extremely data driven with its strategy towards optimising to the highest ROI. As a team we have access to data manipulation tools like python, SQL and Adobe which means we can really dig into the data that is driving fluctuations in performance. We have a constant test and learn approach within each area of marketing, ensuring knowledge of any successes (or failures) are shared amongst the wider team
**Role Summary**
This role is our entry position into the CRM & Marketing team. This role will initially have two key responsibilities.
You are expected demonstrate a keen sense of intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn on the job, and to have ambitious career expectations.
**Key responsibilities**
- Manage ad-hoc CRM communications through briefing to execution in conjunction with multiple stakeholders
- You will be expected to be competent in Excel and SQL or get up to speed very quickly when on the job - experienced applicants will need to prove ability in Excel and SQL.
- Manage campaigns, competitions and giveaways across social media and other platforms; manage and run competitions, analyse performance and use this insight to improve activity going forwards.

- Willing and able to independently think, investigate and drill into data, spotting and highlighting important trends, and be highly accurate
- Excellent numerical and analytical competency
- Excellent communication skills and ability to understand commercial implications of data
- Keen to learn: you’ll need to be sharp-minded and quick on the uptake, trends and news move fast in digital

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
