Autism Assessment Service Operational Lead

As our Operational Service Lead, you will be a key member of the Children’s Services directorate, driving the successful delivery of key compliance, contractual outcomes, and strategic initiatives. This is your chance to make a lasting impact, ensuring our children’s services are safe, effective, and uphold the highest standards of care.
In this role, you’ll take the lead in monitoring, analysing, and reporting on the performance of our Autism Assessment services. You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of high-quality, cost-effective provisions while establishing strong, collaborative relationships with Children’s Clinical and Professional Leads, as well as administrative teams. Your leadership will be essential in guiding business planning and ongoing development within the department.

**Performance Monitoring**: Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor service performance. Regularly evaluate and analyse data to identify trends, challenges, Data Quality, Validation and areas for improvement, taking corrective actions as necessary.
**Operational Leadership**: Take charge of the day-to-day operational management of administration services, ensuring efficient workflows, and seamless service delivery. Lead by example to inspire and motivate the team to achieve excellence.
**Quality Assurance**: Ensure adherence to healthcare standards, policies, and regulations. Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to uphold high standards of care, patient safety, and satisfaction.
**Service Improvement**: Identify opportunities for service enhancement and implement innovative solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that improve patient outcomes, experience, and operational efficiency.
**Stakeholder Engagement**: Establish and cultivate effective communication channels including clinical, administration staff and corporate partners. Collaborate with relevant parties to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
**Change Management**: Lead the implementation of organisational change initiatives. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, driving positive transformations within services.
