**The role**

Day to day, you’ll liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure all training planning requirements are met to contractual timescales, ensure that planning of any requested change to the scheduled courses are considered and correctly resourced along with any administrative duties that are required.
- Under the direction of the Training Coordinator post and with Operations Manager and Marine Engineering Department watch bill coordinator to ensure that planning of requested change to scheduled courses are considered and correctly resourced.
- Under the direction of the Training Coordinator post - Daily with representatives of the Astute Class Submarine Commanding Officers, Training Schools, FOST (Fleet Operational Sea Training) and Navy Command to ensure emergent changes to all ACTS (Astute Class Training Service) Training requirements are met
- Provide management Information for monthly Governance meetings, FOST weekly briefs and the nuclear nine letter committee meetings on a 6 monthly basis
- Ensure that plans are presented to the Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA) in accordance with the contractual requirement

**Essential experience of the Training Coordinator**:

- Must have previous administration experience
- Must be able to use Microsoft packages such as Excel and Word to a good standard

This is a full time fixed term contract based at our Faslane, Helensburgh site.
