**Location: Bradford/ Hybrid Working (a mix of office and home working)**

**Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday between the working window of 8:00am-6:00pm.**

**We have an exciting opportunity for an Engagement Advisor to join the People team at Yorkshire Water.**

**Where you fit in**:
You will manage our proactive and reactive engagement strategy. You will also work closely with the Communications and Brand team to support with creating, managing and evaluating current engagement activities, as well as discover future opportunities to help improve our colleagues’ connection to where they work.

You will be our in-house expert and trusted advisor on engagement and work closely with the Engagement Lead to act as a coach and advisor to support senior leaders in the business to establish and grow engagement within their teams, creating resources they can use to support themselves. You will actively look outside the organisation for best practices and opportunities to improve our engagement levels.

A key part of the role will be managing, administering and communicating our Yorkshire Voice colleague engagement survey and then using the information provided to produce meaningful insights into how engaged our colleagues are. Then supporting the creation of a framework for the management of action plans across the organisation.

**What skills and qualifications you will need**:

- You will have proven experience of working on colleague engagement plans, from development through to measurement
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- You will be hugely passionate about people, an advocate of continuous improvement and have a good understanding of colleague engagement, motivation and morale
- An understanding of what great communications and engagement looks like experience of creating plans to support this
- Experience of developing a stakeholder focused plan that supports the goals and objectives of the business
- Previous experience in creating written communications and creative content that supports delivery of engagement plans
- Ability to analyse and assess colleague engagement data with reporting expertise to help tell key stakeholders how we’re performing
- Thinking creatively to engage colleagues across the organisation with proven tools, plans and channels to help reach our colleagues in a way that works for them
- Experience of supporting colleague engagement surveys, producing analysis and developing action plans
- Lots of experience with key IT programmes (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.)
- Excellent administration, planning, coordination, and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**You will also benefit from having**:

- Experience with creative channels like videos, podcasts and newsletter design
- An interest in colleague well-being, development, and behaviour change

We embrace a flexible working model, where our hybrid setup typically requires an average of one day in the office per week. This could be slightly more when collaborative efforts, training or meeting deadlines demand it. For those who prefer to work on-site, our office is open Monday-Friday during working hours.
