**Location**: The role is a flexible hybrid working arrangement, although there is an expectation that 50% of your time will be visiting operational sites from across the Yorkshire region. Please note the site you will be based at, will be determined by your home location. A full UK driving license (with no more than 6 points) is an essential requirement of this role, with the ability to travel between sites.

**Work type**: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

We have an opportunity for a **Partnership & Community Engagement Advisor** to join the River Health department at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

**Where you fit in**:
As our **Partnership & Community Engagement Advisor** you will focus on creating engagement with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders, and building trusting relationships that in turn builds on the reputation of the company with customers and the sector.

This will involve supporting the development and implementation of engagement strategies, building new partnerships, and supporting our current strategic partnerships. In addition, there will be a requirement to repair and build trust with external stakeholders through open and proactive interaction such as owning a ‘Creating and leading Yorkshire Rivers forum’.

The **Partnership & Community Engagement Advisor** will work with the wider internal partnership community to work effectively and efficiently in enhancing the perception of Yorkshire Water as a leader in the environment, including being a daily point of contact for several important partnerships and relationships with local interest groups, citizen science and environmental academics.

**What skills & qualifications you will need**:

- Experience of communicating, engagement and influencing at a senior level (Head of department / General Manager level)
- Degree level technical qualification or successful track record within in an equivalent technical position at leadership level.
- Previous experience and knowledge of business process and operation within a regulated. company and an understanding of the regulatory framework.
- Ability to write, interpret and sign off technical papers for the business.
- Technical expertise in all aspects of Wastewater regulation.
- A proven record of delivering sustained performance across the wastewater business.
- Knowledge and experience of Risk Management.
- Strong people leader experienced in managing technical teams and driving change.
- Highly developed coaching approach to managing people.
- Good analytical skills, able to compile, assess, interpretate and communicate data.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Experience of creating complex and ambitious business cases.
