**Job Overview**
Boston Bar is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Supervisor to join our dynamic team. Situated in the heart of Edinburgh, Boston Bar offers a unique blend of Irish-American hospitality, live music, sports, and hearty pub grub. As a Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily operations, leading the front-of-house team, and delivering exceptional guest experiences that reflect our lively and welcoming atmosphere.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in both bar and restaurant settings, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for our customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and manage the bar team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee bartending activities, ensuring that all beverages are prepared to the highest standards.
- Manage food preparation and production within the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Train staff on bartending techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar environment.
- Be willing to contribute to discussions promotional strategies to enhance bar sales and customer engagement.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in team management within a bar or hospitality setting.
- Strong bartending skills with a comprehensive knowledge of beverages and cocktail preparation.
- Familiarity with food preparation processes and food safety standards.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in food production or kitchen management is advantageous but not essential.
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
