**Area Sales Manager - Brick & Cladding Facades**

Job Title: Sales Executive - Brick & Cladding Facades
Industry Sector: Brick Cladding, Rainscreen, Brick, Facades, Renders, Terracotta, Mesh, Ceramic, Metal, Stone and Decorative Boarding
Area to be covered: South of South East (below South Circular)

Based: up to 45 minutes from the Gatwick area
Remuneration: £32,000-£36,000 + £5,000-£6,000 Commission Year One £10,000-£12,000 year Two
Benefits: 1 Series BMW Car or equivalent & full benefits
The role of the Area Sales Manager Brick & Cladding Facades will involve:

- Field sales position selling an independent distributed range of façade solutions
- Initially you will be focussed on selling brick facades, but ultimately you will also promote; terracotta, ceramic, mesh, metal rainscreen cladding systems and decorative boarding
- Selling through architects but also housebuilders, design & build contractors and main contractors
- Initially new business development although you will retain all accounts won and will inherit a few existing customers
- Managing the process from specification through to main contractor and ultimately the specialist bricklaying sub contractor
- Projects will vary in size from domestic to large scale commercial, healthcare and education
- Targeted to achieve £75,000-£80,000 margin year one (approx £800,000 revenue although margin will vary from project to project)
- Covering an area south of the South Circular down to the South Coast, with regular visits to London based architects

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Brick & Cladding Facades with:

- Proven track record in construction field sales
- Bubbly personality/ zest for sales
- On the up in career
- Preferably sold exterior building products such as bricks, blocks, cladding etc.
- Ideally with some prior experience of having sold into either architects, main contractors, housebuilder developers or cladding/ bricklaying specialist sub contractors
- Knowledge or brick facades, terracotta, ceramic, mesh, or metal rainscreen cladding systems is not essential
- Open to both distribution and manufacturer field sales backgrounds
- Career stability is essential
