Would you like to do a job that makes a difference every day, using your skills, experience and compassion to help people in crisis?

Would you like to live in Cornwall? A county of outstanding natural beauty with its endless rugged coastlines, beautiful countryside and unbeatable beaches. Attracting millions of visitors each year, this could be your chance to move here permanently and make a difference to our community.

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is passionate about promoting good mental health and wellbeing. We strive to use the expertise and resources within our organisation and through our partnerships, to deliver high quality services that are safe and focused on people's recovery. Our Home Treatment and Crisis service provision is a pivotal part of the acute care pathway for people with acute mental health difficulties, and we are investing substantially in them to improve care. Your experience and enthusiasm could be just what we need to expand our teams.

This an exciting time to join the team as we continue to grow and develop to deliver a high-quality mental health response to people in crisis. We are forward thinking and innovative team and are presently working towards HTAs accreditation.

This post will work as part of an established integrated multi-disciplinary Home Treatment Team and newly commissioned Crisis Hub. The team promotes a dynamic and innovative way of working, triaging and responding to mental health crisis calls and referrals, providing interventions, support, guidance and signposting. The service further delivers timely and responsive face to face assessments where required.

A recent significant investment in psychology provision and a commitment to clinical quality and excellence, has led to the creation of new psychology posts, including a new leadership structure across the county.

Alongside this post we are also looking for 2 x 1 WTE Band 7/8a HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologists (Clinical/Forensic/Counselling) to work within our **crisis **mental health services to not only support the clinical needs of our service users but also to support wider strategic developments of the service and staff teams.

To support the clinical leadership of these roles, we are looking for one Band 8b Clinical Lead post, in the first instance.

Your clinical expertise, training and experience will be valued, together with a commitment to supporting your career development and progression, with ongoing learning opportunities. Due to our commitment to your professional growth, we are developing a career progression model in which our 8a psychology staff rotate between differing inpatient environments every two years. Following a full rotation, further career pathways and opportunities, such as the Mental Health Act Approved / Responsible Clinician training pathway become available. This provides a framework through which we can meaningfully reward our talented psychology team, should the
