**Key Responsibilities**:
- To assist the Marketing and Communications Manager with planning the School’s marketing strategy based on key admissions dates in the annual calendar and manage the day to day marketing activities and administration of the department
- To assist in articulating the school’s desired vision, image and position and ensure a consistent communication of the school image both internally and externally
- Ensure Arnold Lodge has effective marketing
- Contribute to staff briefings as required
- A presence at all key Arnold Lodge events
- Drive and develop Arnold Lodge’s digital presence across both social media and digital platforms.
**Marketing**:
- To design and oversee creative content including the production and regular updating of high quality marketing communications for the School via internal and external written publications, social media channels, the School website and press releases.
- Design and create innovative marketing collateral for digital and print mediums.
- Draft, edit and proof read copy for marketing materials including newsletters, prospectuses, flyers, adverts and e-shots
- Ensure that Arnold Lodge branding is used consistently across all communications
- Secure parental feedback to inform ongoing marketing strategy
- Maintain stocks of marketing materials and ensure they are displayed as required at school events
- Work with external photographers to ensure image use for marketing purposes adheres to School policies
- Ensure the School appears in appropriate Directories and that entries are kept up to date
- Fostering Alumni relations
**Digital Marketing**:
- Assist in developing and implementing Arnold Lodge’s social media strategy and digital media presence
- Ensure ALS communication message is consistent across all channels
- Embrace all aspects of social media to create and maintain an engaging and active presence, as well as monitoring and reporting the effectiveness of the presence.
- Monitoring the digital marketing landscape and new trends and integrating those into the marketing and communications strategy
- Using latest social analytics tools, such as Hootsuite, maximise the impact of digital content across all platforms, providing insightful reports on ROI and impact to inform future direction and focus
- Identify, co-ordinate and produce relevant and audience-specific audio, video and other assets to improve the reach and impact of our message for use through various mediums.
- Filming and production of all video content and photography for the school including School events and liaising with external agencies where necessary.
- Work with IT staff and website provider to ensure that Arnold Lodge’s website is kept up to date and review information on a regular basis to ensure content is appropriate to current and prospective parents’
- Support Arnold Lodge’s internal communications activity
- Consider how digital content can be used most effectively alongside the print medium in order to improve environmental sustainability.
Social Media:
- Oversee and manage all School social media platforms, working successfully with and training colleagues across the organisation to ensure consistency and vibrancy of content
- Plan, design and create authentic content for the ALS social media channels for current and prospective parents as well as current and prospective pupils.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends and make appropriate recommendations for the development and direction of our School channels
- Maintain a consistent presence across all social media channels
- Assist with the planning and execution of the ALS social media strategy.
- Use a range of techniques including e-bulletins, paid search, SEO, digital advertising and social media content to raise brand awareness and drive online traffic to the School websites.
- Plan, design and create video content for ALS social media channels and for use on the school website.
- Review the impact and analysis of the ALS digital campaigns to identify market opportunities.
Events:
- Support with the planning, organising and execution of admissions focused events such as Open Days, Assessment Days, Transitions Days and Open Events
- Coordinate the logistics for any onsite events such as Parents’ Evenings etc
- Plan, organise and execute ALS Parent focused events such as the ALS Winter Ball. Liaising with venues, third parties as required.
Additional Duties:
- General administrative functions as and when required
- To perform any responsibilities associated with being a member of the school's staff, as reasonably directed by the Headteacher or Operations Manager

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
