As Digital Product & Process Reimagined Strategist you'll play a crucial role in analysing, designing, and implementing innovative digital processes & solutions, identifying transformative digital opportunities and developing strategic roadmaps that will enable long-term business growth and improved user outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement through digital solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Lead multiple Discovery phases to identify as-is states with problems and opportunities, to-be states with business case for Digital Investment to both transform operational capability and deliver user and business value.
- Reimagine, design and implement new digital processes, products and solutions that solve business problems, enhance user experience and deliver value.
- Lead Lean Agile methodologies for continuous improvement; identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement through digital products and solutions, collaborating with cross functional stakeholders, to enhance operational efficiency and user satisfaction
- Lead and support the development of transformation and digital strategies that align with our business objectives.
- Collaborate with digital and data cross-functional product teams to design and implement innovative digital initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote digital adoption, continuous improvement and process changes within teams.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of digital strategies and processes, adjusting as necessary for continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
About You
We're looking for a strategic transformative thinker who can operate strategically, setting the vision with senior stakeholders and tactically at an operational level. You are user centred, with an understanding of design led thinking, whilst having a technical understanding of digital products and ideally the domain.
Influential and persuasive, you champion creativity and innovation. You are good at making decisions, even when you have incomplete information and time. You are highly self-motivated and able to work without a lot of direction; able to lead the direction for others.
Experience and tenacity of working within a matrixed organisation, with the ability to build strategic business cases, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and priorities, plus a good understanding of benefits case and realisation, are all key.
You'll have proven experience of with any of the following frameworks: Business process reimagined, Lean thinking, Lean Six-Sigma , Service Design, SAFe Agile, Scrum or any type of continuous improvement processes that focuses on both user and business needs.
Significant experience within a complex, innovative regulated environment e.g. utilities, infrastructure, regulated service, or construction industries would be an advantage but not essential.
Strong stakeholder communication and management skills are essential as is a broad business knowledge. Crucially, you know how to translate information about Digital & IT into language everyone can understand.
You'll also have a track record of delivering high-impact solutions to improve business and user outcomes, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional agile teams, mentor junior staff, and foster high-performing, inclusive cultures.
