Ezi-Dock Systems Limited are manufacturers of World Class process solutions for the Global Life Science Community.

Our products are used by leading pharmaceutical/bio-pharmaceutical companies who demand the highest levels of quality and consistency. Due to our continued expansion, we are in need of a Quality Officer to join our busy Quality team. The position will be based at our new premises in Barlborough, Chesterfield.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated and extremely well organised, with an eye for detail and good problem solving skills. They will be a good team player with a willingness to learn.

**Role & Main Duties**:

- Support with developing and maintaining procedures, policies, processes for all business functions in collaboration with concerned stake holders to support Ezi-Dock QMS and ISO accreditation.
- Create and update controlled documents to reflect developing Quality Control techniques and implemented improvements.
- In conjunction with the Quality Manager, perform root cause analysis and develop corrective action strategies in response to non-conformances.
- Carrying out and documenting inspections during the manufacturing process.
- Checking and signing off release and dispatch documents for goods, to provide assurance that quality control has been carried out.
- Managing the Quality inbox and responding to enquiries.
- Working with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues quickly and efficiently.
- Attend and provide support during customer audits.
- Provide support for company projects, systems and infrastructure development.
- Support with the supplier qualification procedure and establish supplier KPIs.
- Support with required regulatory approvals and material testing as appropriate.
- Assist when needed with goods-in inspections and inspection of materials for production.
- Carrying out analytical testing tasks when required.
- Promote quality awareness, continuous improvement and customer focus company wide.
- Coordinate, deploy and support members of the Quality team in the absence of the Quality Manager.

**Qualities required**:
Essential
- Knowledge and experience of quality management systems.
- High level of literacy.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills.
- A considered and diligent approach to tasks.
- High levels of organisation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- IT literate (ERP Systems, Office, Excel)
- Willingness to adapt and learn.
- Good collaborator and team player.

Preferred
- Supervisory or Management experience.
- Experience working with ISO 9001 and process management.
- Audit experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
