**Application Security Manager**

I’m working with a company near Guildford who creates an award-winning cloud & intranet solution who are looking for an Application Security Manager to join their growing family.

Due to a huge amount of success the company are growing rapidly and expect to more than double in size in the next couple of years, so it's an exciting time to join.

This is a new role with the aim of improving app security standards and best practices across the product.

**Responsibilities**
- Improving on and designing security standards and best practices
- Design security architecture features to limit threats
- Work with Ops to review and design solutions that balance business and cyber security requirements
- Design and implement a Secure SDLC and work with engineering team to ensure adoption
- Code review of architecturally significant areas
- Coordinate regular Penetration Tests
- Ensure Security roadmaps and Metrics/KPis are always up to date
- Implement security training plans
- Promote security champions within sprint teams
- Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats using industry threat intelligence

**You will need**
- Strong skills within.NET/JavaScript/Cloud database
- Understanding of Web Architecture & REST APIs
- Experience in Ethical hacking & Penetration Testing
- Expertise with Identity and access management frameworks
- Experience of presenting and training on security standards and best practice
- Ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience of Agile
- Understanding of Software Security Architecture and Design
- OWASP Top 10, WASC TC v2 and\or CWE Top 25
- Experience with cloud environments
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) / Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP)
