The assistant company secretary will be responsible for the company secretarial matters arising within the organisation, with a primary focus on providing comprehensive administrative board support in respect of the group’s principal operating subsidiaries.Daily duties will include liaising with registrars regarding shares and shareholder enquiries, including oversight of the register of members, dealing with matters affecting shareholdings, implementing changes in the structure of the PLC share capital andcommunicating with key shareholders.
Further duties will include supporting the preparation of corporate accreditations, registrations and operating licences as appropriate as well as ensuring that statutory forms and returns for all group subsidiary companies in the UK are prepared and filedefficiently at Companies House. A key aspect of the role will require you to contribute to the development of the company secretarial function strategy, bringing best practice to raise the profile of the team.
