**Product Manager**

**£34,000 per annum + 20days holiday + BH (+1yr + 1 day), Pension, Parking, Life Assurance ++**

**Monday - Friday - 8.30am - 5.00pm - Hybrid Options are working remotely on Fridays, a further day can be negotiated following a training period.**

As they continue to develop markets both domestically and across the world, they are looking to recruit an experienced Product Manager to join their small, friendly team

**You will bring a flair for spotting new trends, sourcing new suppliers, fashion, buying and merchandising. You will be excellent with numbers and product costings including Excel and ERP systems.

**Daily Tasks**
- Managing existing product ranges
- Conducting competitor benchmarking
- Developing, sourcing and managing new products
- Managing product lifecycles by using analytical skills to monitor the sales and profit margins of products through their lifecycle
- Conducting market research to underpin specific development
- Negotiating both cost and quality with suppliers to meet margin expectations
- Working with the design team to ensure product specs are communicated and understood by suppliers and viable for production
- Have a strategic awareness of the market, following and reporting back on market trends and innovations within the market
- Establishing and building relationships with suppliers, visiting supplier factories both in the UK and overseas
- Working within critical paths to ensure deadlines are met
- Creating and maintaining detailed technical product specifications
- Understanding compliance, arranging product testing and maintaining compliance records
- Supplier management from PO to goods in
- Arranging and approving pre-shipment inspections
- Managing supplier shipments and liaising with internal stakeholders
- Investigate returns and follow up with suppliers

**What are we looking for?**
- A proven track record in a similar product manager role is essential managing products from concept to launch
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to communicate to a technical detail
- The ability to communicate a clear brief and ensure deliverables are met
- A developed analytical mindset with technical experience
- Highly numerate
- A keen eye for detail and an understanding of the creative aspects of a product
- Strong commercial acumen/awareness
- A highly professional, confident self-starter
- A problem solving mind set
- Confident with Word, Excel and ERP systems

There will be travel involved within the role - Trade Shows etc within Europe. This will be known in advance, and overnight.
