Due to a recent increase in orders, we have a brilliant opportunity for you to work for a worldwide engineering provider at the one of their Sheffield based sites. They are looking for a Steel Operative to join the team and help support the increased demandin production. We have multiple positions available for Steel Operatives across different sites.

The role of Steel Operative will be reporting into the Shift Manager and will be responsible for working within a small close knit team in a number of areas including;
- Furnace - Identifying the correct billets required for the rolling programme including slinging, sorting and charging into the furnace
- Sund Operation - Operating the SUND binding machine that is used to weigh and bind coils as they come off the Hook Conveyor, followed by the un-loading of the coil capstan. You will then use the FLT pole truck to move the coils into the stockyard.
- Pointing Saw Operation

**The hours of work for this role are Monday - Friday rotating weekly between Mornings (6am-1pm), Afters (1pm-9pm) and Nights (9pm-6am)**.
