**The Role**
- As our **Head of Corporate Finance**, you’ll lead and grow our Corporate Finance team, working closely with business owners and investors to help them make game-changing financial decisions. Whether it's guiding a local business through an acquisition, securing funding for a fast-growing company, or advising on strategic exits, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping their success.
- This isn’t just about managing transactions—it’s about building long-term relationships, offering expert insights, and making a real impact on the businesses we support.

Key responsibilities include:

- **Leading & growing the team**:Building and developing a high-performing Corporate Finance function that delivers exceptional client service.
- **Driving business growth**: Developing and implementing financial strategies that help businesses scale, secure funding, and improve profitability.
- **Mergers & acquisitions**: Managing deal processes from start to finish, including due diligence, valuations, and negotiations.
- **Funding & investment**: Advising clients on raising capital, restructuring, and investment opportunities.
- **Strategic advisory**: Working closely with SMEs and investors to provide insight-driven financial advice.
- **Collaboration**: Partnering with other departments to ensure a seamless, integrated service for clients.
- **Staying ahead**: Keeping up to date with market trends, regulations, and best practices in corporate finance.

Who We’re Looking For
- We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Corporate Finance professional who can help lead and grow our Corporate Finance function.
- **Corporate Finance Experience**: Demonstrated success in managing M&A, financial restructuring, and capital raising initiatives.
- **Leadership & Team Growth**:Proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing Corporate Finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous development.
- **Deal Execution**:Skilled in managing due diligence, financial modeling, valuations, and negotiations.
- **Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills**: Strong capability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic insights to inform decision-making.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Experience in maintaining and enhancing client relationships, delivering high-quality advisory services to business owners, investors, and stakeholders.
- **Commercial Acumen**: Deep understanding of the financial drivers across various industries, enabling the provision of tailored financial solutions.
