12 Month Contract** - Likely to be extended

**Advantage Resourcing are working with a large well known Engineering company who designs, manufactures, and distributes engines, filtration, and power generation and are seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator.We're mainly looking for a good Coordinator with some HSE experience.**
This role is mostly onsite at the Milton Keynes site, 3 to 4 days onsite, 1 or 2 days per week working from home.

**You will be involved in**
Admin activities, managing reporting systems, preparing reports, preparing documentation and reports for various KPI's the team monitors, get involved in risk assessment, accident investigations, be part of various different projects, environmental projects,support the different teams with HSE objectives, manage databases.
must haves for the role:
**Requirements**:
Minimal Health and Safety certification required
Knowledge of MS Office required
Experience with risk assessment would be beneficial
Someone that would like to develop in the HSE field would be ideal.
Experience managing reporting systems and managing action plans would be beneficial

**Job Summary**:

- Performs routine functions related to a site's environmental permit requirements and safety
- requirements, HSE objectives and targets, and the overall Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS).
- Routine functions may include the gathering of emissions and discharge data, incidents and accidents, visual site inspections, sampling wastewater discharges, maintaining waste accumulation areas, labelling waste containers, and other related duties, asdirected by the site HSE Supervisor or HSE Manager.
- Supports the collection of site HSE KPIs for use at the site, BU and Corporate levels.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supports implementation and maintenance of the site HSEMS, control of significant aspects and risks and achievement of HSE objectives/targets.
- Supports regulatory compliance efforts and other programs applicable at the site including storm water management, employee training, record keeping/reporting, and other associated HSE programs at a facility.
- Monitors the day-to-day operations associated with pollution prevention, waste management, air quality, water quality and related programs.
- Assists with internal and external HSE audits; resolves basic issues identified in audits; updates HSE Management Systems documentation

**Competencies**

**Education, Licenses, Certifications**:
Minimal Health and Safety certification required
College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific field required.
