Analyst Developer (OpenLink Endur) - Commodities/Trading (6 month contract)

Location: London/Hybrid

Daily rate: circa £750 Inside IR35

Are you an experienced or passionate Analyst Developer looking to broaden your horizons in a Full Service Price Risk Management company? If so this could certainly be an opportunity worth considering.

Working with some of the biggest names in the industry, this exciting pioneer in price risk management, has made it very clear that their rapid expansion is not over - in fact the business has committed to a significant head count increase and are lookingfor a talented Analyst Developer who is familiar with OpenLink Endur to join their team of passionate and highly-skilled technology professionals to analyse, enhance, develop, troubleshoot & maintain functionality within their OpenLink Endur platform.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyse, Enhance, develop, troubleshoot and maintain functionality within OpenLink Endur platform. Mainly using OpenComponents.NET technology for Endur.
- Understand existing ORACLE PL/SQL database packages and procedures, and code additional items or fix bugs on Oracle databases.
- Engage in other areas of SDLC - testing, documentation, implementation and release management process for the systems.
- Define automatic testing solution and deployment procedure.
- Document technical architecture, functional design of the interface and define user guide (if required) and troubleshooting guide before passing over the tools to the BAU team.

Accountabilities:

- Responsible for completing requested tasks in timely manner.
- Maintain and follow appropriate standards within the department for delivery of those tasks.

Person Specification:

- Strong understanding of OpenLink Endur platform and experienced in using OpenLink development tools - either AVS, JVS or OpenComponents (.NET / JAVA). Also able to troubleshoot, support and maintain Endur instance.
- Capacity to work autonomously and to communicate with the different stakeholders of the project.
- Good database development, either using Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft SQLServer T-SQL.
- Knowledge of FIX protocols, RabbitMQ / Messaging Service, Crystal Report, TFS Build, etc technologies.
- Knowledge of trading, STP, Risk and Operations process will be ideal.
- Good analytical skills. Able to investigate, analyse and troubleshoot tasks.
- Able to perform various phases of SDLC where essential - analysis, coding, review, testing, documentation, implementation and release management. Along with any troubleshooting / investigation / support task.

Special Working Conditions (if applicable)
- Occasional weekend / afterhours / bank holiday work will be required, either on-site or from home.
