**About Our Client**:
Our client is a well known Higher Education institution in the Greater Manchester area who offer a warm and welcoming campus for both staff and students. They pride themselves on being community focused and really do make a difference to the lives of their students.

The key responsibilities of the Data Insights Officer will include, but may not be limited to;
- Undertake extensive analysis of complex internal and external data (e.g. UCAS, Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), Graduate Outcomes, NSS) to evaluate performance and positioning and to input into course/portfolio development and to inform strategic decision-making in relation to admissions and recruitment;
- Support Senior Market Insight Manager to conduct thorough market research on proposed new courses, portfolio development and tuition fee setting across all Schools to inform strategic decision making throughout the approval process, through the identification and analysis of relevant datasets, including Labour Market Information;
- Create reports and dashboards using a variety of IT packages, including (but not limited to) Microsoft PowerBi, to identify recruitment and admissions trends and to support in-cycle decision-making;
- Provide analytics and business intelligence reports, using the University's Customer Relationship Management system, as required;
- Cascade clearly presented research insights and recommendations to relevant colleagues across the University, using excellent communication and influencing skills.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Experience within Data Insights;
- High levels of proficiency with Excel, along with extensive experience with V-look ups and Pivot tables;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Stakeholder management skills;
- Enthusiasm for working within the Higher Education sector;
- Experience in the Higher Education sector would be advantageous.

**What's on Offer**:

- A 6 month interim or fixed term contract role, with possible permanency;
- Between £30,000 - £31,500 per annum equivalent;
- Hybrid working
- 3 days working from home.
