**Amelia Knight Limited**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic **Assistant Merchandiser** to join a fast-paced and successful FMCG company. Supporting the wider merchandising team, you will work closely with internal departments—including Design, Sales, and Shipping—as well as liaising with external suppliers to help manage the critical path. This is a fantastic role for someone looking to build their merchandising career within a dynamic and growing business supplying major UK retailers.

**The Role**:

- Support the Merchandiser in maintaining and updating the critical path to ensure key deadlines are met.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure all relevant information is communicated and actioned.
- Communicate with suppliers and factories to track order progress and maintain accurate delivery schedules.
- Raise and process purchase orders, checking against customer requirements.
- Support the team with order management, sample coordination, and packaging/labelling approvals.
- Follow up on outstanding approvals and product samples.
- Highlight any issues or delays that could impact the timely delivery of goods.
- Liaising with New Product Development and build relationships with buyers.

**Skills Required**:

- Some previous experience in a merchandising, buying admin, or similar support role (FMCG or retail experience preferred).
- Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive and able to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
- Competent with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role.

This role would suit someone with a passion for retail or product development who is eager to learn and grow within a supportive and fast-moving environment.
