Greetings Card Merchandiser

Merchandiser required for immediate start.
Card Connection is the market leader in franchised distribution of greetings card with over 30 years experience. The franchise based in Newark controls the largest territory is Great Britain and has won multiple awards. We are looking to expand and so this means that we need a new merchandiser to join our team.
The role of a merchandiser includes:
- Tidying displays to plan
- Counting and picking stock
- Creating displays out of gift bags and party products (candles, balloons etc)
- Checking signage and POS
- Building a rapport with customers
- Handling money
- Driving distances in a large van
Working hours will be 6:30am to 6:30pm on 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (36 hours). These days may change depending on the needs of the business.
Must have a full and clean driving license as you will be driving a company van.
No experience is required, full training will be given. Retail/customer assistant experience will be useful but not essential. You must be conscientious and flexible, with an eye for detail and the ability to take initiative and work well on your own. Good communication and people skills is also a must as you will be dealing with customers directly.

Pay: £11.80 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
