**About the Role**

As a Finance Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the CCDC’s finance team. You will assist with financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure financial compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, gain hands-on experience, and receive industry-recognised training.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Maintaining and reconciling the accounting system
- Processing purchase orders, invoices, and expense claims
- Managing accounts payable and reconciling credit card expenses
- Handling internal and external finance queries
- Monitoring bank accounts and authorising online payments
- Assisting with financial reporting, audits, and year-end accounts
- Booking travel arrangements as required
- Supporting finance projects and providing team cover

**What We’re Looking For**

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Strong mathematical ability with great attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

- Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn
- A team player who collaborates effectively
- Enthusiastic and adaptable to new challenges

**Qualifications**:

- **Essential**: Minimum GCSEs (including Maths and English)
