We are looking for a Teaching Office Administrator within the Centre for Open Learning (COL). You will be part of a team providing effective administrative support to all courses within the Centre. You will have recent relevant experience working in a customer facing administrative environment, good interpersonal and communication skills as well as a strong team player.
**The Opportunity**:
The post holder will assist in providing a range of support both in preparation for and during courses, including the responsibility for ensuring records are up-to-date for engagement monitoring and recording. The post holder will also work across the COL Teaching Office units according to business need. This includes provision of course and assessment materials, data entry processes for new course offerings and production of student certificates.
**Your skills and attributes for success**:
- Vocational Qualifications (N/SVQ 2/3), ONC or equivalent plus relevant work experience in a similar role within HE
- Experience delivering excellent customer service
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Working knowledge of common software packages and ability to utilise in-house packages with sufficient training
- Competent numeracy, literacy and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise own workload
